A letter from Our Father: copyfrom Fr. Lam from our last retreat November '02

親愛的

我愛你(若15:9); 我以你名字召叫了你，你是我的(依43:1)。我還沒有在母腹內形成你以前，我已認識了你; 在你還沒有出離母胎以前，我已祝聖了你 (耶1:5)。不是你揀選了我，而是我揀選了你(若15:16)。

你在我眼中是寶貴的，是貴重的，我愛你(依43:4)。我愛你，我永遠愛你，因為我給你保留了我的仁慈(耶31:3) 我怎能捨棄你? 我怎能拋掉你? 我的五內已感動了(歐11:8)。

婦女豈能忘掉自己的乳嬰? 初為人母的，豈能忘掉親生的兒子? 縱然她們能忘掉，我也不能忘掉你們啊 ! 看哪 ! 我已把你刻在我的手掌上(依49:15-16)。因為是我，上主，你的天主，提著你的右手，向你說過: 「不要害怕，有我協助你。」(依41:13) 你不要害怕，因為我救贖了你(依43:1)，我同你一起(依41:5)。我再說一次我同你天天在一起，直到今世的終結(瑪28:20)。

你心裡不要煩亂;你要信賴我(若14:1)，我協助你(依41:14)。當你由水中經過時, 我必與你在一起; 憂慮不能困擾你，痛苦不能傷害你(依43:2)。你不要害怕(路12:7)，因為就是你的頭髮，也都一一數過了(瑪10:30)。天地會過去，但我對你的愛決不會過去。

來，就如母親撫慰嬰兒，我也要同樣撫慰你，使你享受安慰(依66:12); 我要引導你，領你到曠野和你談心(歐2:16)。因為我是上主，你的天主(歐13:4)。

The Father’s letter is taken from our recent retreat with Rev. Father Lam. This is a collection of bible readings, the best all (beginning of the Liturgy year). Would you like to do a some reflection of your relationship with the Father and to experience His love for you?

Dear

I love you; I have called you by name, you are mine (Isaiah 43:1). Before I formed you in the womb I knew you; and before you were born I consecrated you (Jeremiah 1:5). You did not choose me but I chose you and appoint you (John 15:16).

You are precious in my eyes and honoured, and I love you (Isaiah 43:4). I have loved you with everlasting love; therefore I have continued my faithfulness to you (Jeremiah 31:3). How can I give you up? How can I hand you over? My heart recoil within me (Hosea 11:8).

Can a woman forget her sucking child, that she should have no compassion on the son of her womb? Even these may forget, yet I will not forget you. Behold I have graven you on the palms of my hands (Isaiah 49:15-16). For I am the Lord, your God who hold your right hand; it is I who say to you, “Fear not, I will help you.” (Isaiah 41:13) Fear not that I have redeemed you, (Isaiah 43:1) I will stay with you (Isaiah 41:5). I say it again, I am with you always, to the close of the age.” (Matthew 28:20)

“Let not your hearts be troubled; believe in God, believe also in me” (John 14:1) I will help you (Isaiah 41:14). When you passed through the waters I will be with you, worries will not disturb you, pains will not hurt you (Isaiah 43:2). Fear not (Luke 12:7), because even the hairs of your head are all numbered (Matthew 10:30). The heaven and the earth will pass away, but my love will not.

And you shall suck, and you shall be carried upon her hip, and comforted (Isaiah 66:12); I will lead you to the wilderness and talk with you (Hosea 2:16). I am the Lord your God; you know no God but me, and besides me there is no saviour (Hosea 13:4).
